Take off the bedplate and look at the notches. If i remember right, the 95's are notched on the same side, bedplate and block. You are more likely to have a 96+ block that a 95 anyway just due to the difference in the number sold. If you look around on bstockum.com, i think they have a couple of pics of a 95 vs 96+, or failing that, thedawg had a good post about it a while back with pics of all the important stuff.

Fenton Dodge/Bob Kise sells them for about $50. If that's too much, you need a new hobby ;-)

Ok if you're rods have oil squirters holes on the bottom of the rods where they connect to the crank then u must use the 2.4 turbo bearings. if u dont have the oil squirters on the rods then u use the non turbo bearings. Trust me i went through the same problem.

Then your block is 96+. The lower set, the top and bottom halves are interchangeable.

My search show the same crankshaft bearing set for all 2.4 from 95-99
unlike the 2.0 which used a different set in 1995 and another set for 96-99
are you sure that's not a 2.0 bearing pictures ?

what was different in 95-96 and 97+ is the timming belt tensionner system early years beeing an hydraulic tensionner and with a different water pump too because the tensionner pulley bolted right on the pump
97+ have the crappy first generation mechanical one

Thanks alain...reason being is that howell had on their site listed on the cloud car rebuild section as needing 2 sets just like the 2.0 96.....

This weekend i should be puting the bearing in and crank ...must not forget the mopar sealer...
