Posted by evan2, Nov-19-01 04:46 AM
ok guys well .. heres my deal.. i have a iceman cia, 4-1 kamikaze header, and weapon r muffler, heard a DP would be a waste on a NT.. im more show then anything but want a lil more perfromance.. im not looking to be the fastes ever cuz i know 2 things.. i dont have the money or want to be that.. just some more power on the streets.. its a auto so i have a hard time keeping up with manual civic exs and i cant have that happen.. haahh i really want to swap my tranny for a 5spd.. and this tranny shop now sponsers my club so im trying to get in good with him.. another Q how much would it cost me u think to swap trannies.. and what about the labor?? i couldnt do it myself could i?? prob not.. haahh..

but what would be my next best mods nothing too $$$ and no turbo.. ill prob juice it one of these days.. but i would like some mods thata are always working..

pulleys are next on my list i think..

the AFX UDP is a a great mod. not that expensive either ($100) for close to 10 hp.

You can do it yourself if you have patients. You will need tranny, maybe CV shafts, ECU-maybe a 4G63 guy swapped his auto to manual and didn't need a new ECU, just got rid of the auto computer..., shifter and all the linkage, some wiring harnass. Probably best to get a doner car and pul it off, but at can be done.

The strongest way to block, is never to provoke a blow,
And the cleanest cut is the one withheld."

I say get some nitrous right now and not spend money and any other mods except maybe the UDP. Even running a 50 shot on an auto you might not break 15 second quarters. Its better than 17 though :)

Yeah I say go with Nitrous, too... best bang for your buck. 75 HP for $500-$600. If you're auto you need something more than the UDP to kick some ass on the streets.
