When my car is at idle, if i use anything in the car, windows, wipers, etc the rpms drop to 500 and stay there until i turn them off/up. Whats the deal?

either #1 alternator/regulator are going bad,
#2 clean all battery connections
#3 clean out the throttle body/IAC motor

id start with checking all battery connections
the lower idle is what happens when there is a load on the engine, ie radio,ac,etc..

my alternator has been checked within the last month. My battery was replaced a month ago. My battery terminals are brand spanking new. And, my throttle body was just replaced with an af/x 55mm and the tps and iac were replaced as well. What else could it be?

hmmm.... a question:

does it happen ALL the time at idle? or...does it make a difference if you have been driving at high speeds for an extended period and then stop at a light (or whatever). i used to have a similar problem, but if i was on the highway and exited, came to a stop, everything was fine at idle, it was smooth. after stopiing a few times after that, the idle stumble would return. sound familiar?

no, its all the time. Regardless of driving fast or slow it happens. Im leaning towards ground wires being old/corroded.
