i was just lookin at the howell website and found the AFX computer for 390..is this any good or is there better stuff out there..and is the apexi SAFC the same thing as this or is the AFX computer an ECU upgrade or somethin..all these diff. things are confusin me x(

The afx ecu is the ONLY ecu we have. No the safc is not even close; different thing.

the computer is a complete replacement for 1997 manuals. do a search.

if you dont have a 1997 man. trans., there are no other computer upgrades avalible. ebay (among other places) tries to sell "chip upgrades" and things of that sort. they are absolutly worthless, so dont even consider them. ;)

mitsubishi_specialties on ebay actually does real chip upgrades, but i dont know if anyones tried them here yet

the afx ecu is a performance ecu that replaces teh stocker. the safc is nothing more than an air/fuel controller. two completely different things.
