75425, Resistor mod for running too rich??

If I used a 1/4 watt, 1 Megaohm resistor (same as the testpipe mod) and put it on my upstream O2 sensor, would it block the too rich CEL thats always on? Its on because of the added fuel needed for my turbo. Its time for inspection and my mechanic said that I need that light to be out to be able to pass.

a better idea would be to learn how to tune :thumbsup

It is tuned, the A/f ratio numbers are in range and the exhaust temp is fine. I have the dyno tuning results to prove it. The damn lights been on since I put the kit in.

Its NOT tuned or your o2 sensor took a crap. either replace the o2 sensor or tune correctly. do it right.

fooling the ECU is NOT the way to do things

^bingo.

Your fuel curve is off and you fuel trim are pegged giving you a too rich CEL. If the O2 sensor is still good, then you are out of tune. It doesn't have to be at WOT either, could be partial throttle that out of tune.

DO NOT resistor mod the front o2 you could blow your engine up.

If need be, turn down the boost and put your stock injectors back in.
