I think if you buy the high end Hahn turbo kit (stage V or something like that) It comes with the internals you need, but I'm not sure.

the howell kit shoudl hold 500hp. myabe a little less, but its hard to get that high of hp without other mods also.

Does anyone have 500hp on the 420a???
Start slowly and work your way up the HP ladder. It takes lots of fuel management and tuning to even try and get to 350...

I have the Howell bottom end kit, well the top end kit aswell. Im am really happy with the bottom end kit except for one the thing, the rings!!! They are Total Seal rings, and because of those rings I pulled my motor aprt this weekend to rering it because its burning oil. But every user might have a different experience with them. Back to your main question. Yes, I would recommend the Howell lower end kit. Just make sure the rings you get arent the "2nd ring gapless" set!! Good luck

The new Eagle Rods are good to 1000 hp, they changed the bolts in them, and widened the bottom beam. ;)

i bought my bottom end from dynoflo. They sell a lot of bottoem and top end products for the 420a. I paid 764 for je pistons and eagle rods and a copper head gasket. I went with eagle because of them changing the bolts. I want to autozone for all my felpro gaskets in the long run i saved about two hundred bucks to howells bottom end kit. with that kit you also get je chromoly rings which ive been told are better than plasmamoly or total seal. Ive heard a lot of bad things about total seal.
