Intercooler sprayer?? Good idea imo. I might have to rig something like that. I wonder if you could use the pump from your washer sprayer. But then again, you would need some nice amount of pressure to spray

You can click an injector open with 12V DC. I don't think they are meant for a 100% duty cycle, so don't open them for too long.

Yeah, I dont think an injector will last too long with always being on when sprayed. Also, I have read that water can corrode a fuel injector, so I wouldn't really want to trust that method of injection. IMO, at least buy a Aquamist nozzle, they are meant for this, and will atomize the water much better than any other device out there. If you are at the point of needing something like water injection, that means you are wanting to push the motor to the edge, running pump gas. I wouldn't trust a fuel injector that can clog/corrode to a 3000 dollar motor...thats just me though :)

Yeah you can burn out an injector runnin git 100% duty cycle. I also don't think water is good for the parts of teh injector.

but if i purchase a aquamist nozzle, then i need the valve that will keep the vacuum from pulling the water in.... the injector would stay shut under vacuum and small boost amounts....you would only need the injector under the last 5psi or so....so for those few thousand rpms, the injector wouldnt be open thaaaat long....i dont know, we'll see what happens...im not going insane boost yet, i just wanted to get it safe for when i do go insane.... but 12v will open it up? i just didnt want to blow them up....thanks

dude stock fuckin with that injector for water injection, its not a good idea has mnay downfalls and an aquamist nozzle is 16$! lol and a check valve is 5$! dont be cheap man...it'll bite you in the ass

If it doesn't then Josh will and you don't want that.

I'm also guessing the aquamist runs on a lower line pressure than you need to get an injector to have a good spray pattern. You'd need to have some pump that would give you a good 30psi of line pressure to run the stoick injector. Then there's the ater running through the injector that will probably over time corrode the inside of the injector and probably stick the nossle closed and it won't spray.

I'm all for Monster Garaging it... but do this one the right way.

You'd probably sprend more getting injectors to work anyway. Just buying the right harness for the injectors is not the cheapest.

actually michael the water injection kits have a much higher line pressure, but they also dont use like 3/8 fuel line, lol
