I got few random questions...
1.) A/F reading during WOT
I just recently bought a digital A/F gauge with number readings (not light show gauge). Should the reading stay constant through all gears? Like for gears 1-5 WOT reading to be constant 0.893 +/- 0.03? OR does different gears have different A/F ratio? I also had different reading depending on time. My morning reading were richer than night readings. I also saw a case where the readings kept increasing. Ex. In 3rd and WOT, I saw my gague reaing to pop up to 0.912 (just WOT) then it kept increasing slowly 0.913, 0.914, 0.915... I never saw it stop. Any input?
2.) O2/Electrical
I've been wondering for a while now. I'm just curious to how much of a difference would it make deping on just strip/twist vs. solder. I have not soldered anything on my car. All I do is strip/twist/cap/tape. Would that make enough resistance to make gauges to read differently? I know the O2 sensor is really sensitive when it comes to voltages. But if the type of electrical connections creats more resistance, that would throw my numbers off right? So, I wanted your opinion on strip/twist vs. solder. Not just for O2 related, any electrical connections on my car.

Let me know your inputs. I got more questions, but these should answer most of them. TIA

yes o2 readings will be different for different gears and different weather conditions.

and soldering is ALWAYS better.
might not make much of a difference but enough to throw off an o2 sensor reading

I've read on here that you MUST solder the O2 wires to get the right readings. That could be enough to get bad readings.

I would definately solder, when you are using that gauge to tune by, you do not want to be going by false readings.

So it WILL throw off the readings? So, would soldering it make it more accurate? or just a little better? Because I'm not the best at soldering. I just want to get accurate as possible. But either way, I'll try to solder later... thanks
