This might sound odd, it might not. I pulled the motot outta my car today to rering it(godamn Total Seal rings). Anyways, Im also running a return fuel line while its out. So Im staring at an empty engine bay trying to think ahead where I want to mount the SFMU, cuz I dont want to remove the washer bottle. Well I was looking at the black box that the throttle cables went in and tore it apart. It looks like the main cable thatcomes out of the firewall could be used as the cable that goes to the throttle body. Has any body done this, or atleast tried it? That would be a great place to stick a SFMU!! Its right next to the shrader valve on the fuel rail. Let me know what you think, good or bad!!! Thanx DJ

Sounds like your cruise control box. Most of us don't have them but you can relocate it.

Yeah it is the cruise conrol box. But what Im sayins is, the main cable going into it and coming outta the firewall, looks like it can be used as the main throttle cable going to the TB.?

hey man i just ran into this last weekend when i installed my star ki. i ripped out the cruise control and took apart the "black box" and just ran the throttle cable to my tb and made a bracket to hold it in place if ya email me i'll get a pict of it for ya. it wasn't a issue doin it this way you could also just order a throttle cable for a non cruise control model. its about 22 dollars. theres picts in the turbo section should be about a page back under the headin its alive.
