I saw this on another forum (no im not checking out tiburon forums) guy was asking what the hell might have allowed this engine to rev so quickly...

Is this what the 420a will rev like with lightweight flywheel/BPU's? or would it take more? Screw my 3" downpipe, if I could rev higher, faster, my turbo would spool in no time...

<also>.. my response in this thread was basically that it HAS to be bullshit... theyve obviously added sound... but ignoring that, I'm not so sure

I don't know....I can't see anything but I can hear it and it sounds like a damn video game.......

Yeah it seemed like they at LEAST added the audio, because no amount of engine work could make the exhaust note so clear inside the car...

unless its running into the car... but... anyway

fake. bike sound and the video was speeded up.. you can tell if you carefully watch the edges of the video during the rev'n (instead of the tach) it bounces around quickly instead of slowly

my friend has a v8 automatic dakota and it revs super fast... maybe its auto and they rev faster? i dunno...

If you want your car to rev faster you need to have some custom grind cams made, improve the air and exhaust flow to match the cams. You would need to speak with a company like crane cams to have them make what you wanted.

To make one rev fast you need less rotational mass (different pulley's, fly wheel, clutch, etc), more compression, windage tray, knife edged crank, crank scraper, and fully balanced motor, along with all the above...

lightened pistons and rods along with a lightweight flywheel and carbonfiber clutch. I bet it will rev hella fast then!
