74794, Another speed sensor problem Posted by DJ420a, May-19-04 04:35 PM
I did a auto to manual swap, kept the auto harness, just mofied it. Got a manual guage cluster, and of course a manual ECU. No speedo or Odo. Bought a new sensor, nothing. Heard the tightning of the sensor bolts could be the problem. Has anybody found that "sweet spot" for tightning the bolts or have any other options for me. I really need to figure this out so I can get the car inspected. No odometer, no inspection. Thanx guys

you can stay with the auto ECU but you have to ground 1 wire i did it on my 2GN rs and my rpms work you have to use the out put on the aut speed sensor..

Did you remove the TCU? The speedo will not work if the TCU is still connected to the harness.
