i've had mine for about 6months now, and it worx great. no signs of rust at all. stan has had his for quite a few yrs now and had has no problems, he just changed off the muffler. you can also get a Apexi Dunk for 300$ from importparts.com

i got it with a 5zigen muff and a cherrybomb glasspack to make it sound a lil quieter.
good stuff if ya ask me, 2.5 mandrel bent for 170 shipped
the muffler looks hella ghetto(the one that cums with it) but that is just more of a reason to get a better, straight through one

If you like a bright yellow tip, go for it! ;-) I plan on getting that catback for the piping and changing my muffler for a different one and taking the resonator off and putting on a glass pack.

the sound is louder than stock, kinda buzzes when ya first start it up and take it to the higher rpms. once the pipe/muffler is warm, it sounds good. i just couldnt stand the muffler tip.
read up on corbins site about the install. i htink he went through a cuple mufflers after taking off the pacesetter muff.
i think thta it was 170 bux well spent
peeps talk shit about it, but they drop 500 bux on a catbak that does the same thing.
some companies like greddy and thermal research have done numerous tests on their exhaust systems, so that is what u pay for.

Right now I have a universal muffler and crush bent cat back piping with no resonator. I getting kinda tired of the volume of the buzz. Plus I would rather have 2.5 inch mandrel bend piping anyways.

I think he means the whole catback klipz. They have been discontinued and the prices are dropping like crazy. I plan on going the pacesetter and aftermarket muffler route too. Couldnt you just use a hight temp paint and paint the inside of the tip until you can upgrade the muffler???

lose low end, yes, but high end gains outweigh the loss, and if u plan on doin other performance mods, this will help.
and yeah, u can spraypaint the inside of the muff, mine turned black about a 2 weeks afer drivin around with it.
also, be aware of the stench that the burnin paint makes til about 200 miles after the install
