My car idles like it has cams. ( it does..crane #14's ) but the first year of driving it, it idled normally. Now under partial throttle, any where from hslf to 3/4, the car gets on its ass and MOVES. If i go to full throttle, the car seems to fall flat on its face. Is there a way to check the timing? Isnt it ECU controlled?

Any help is appreciated.

It is ECU controlled. You can see your timing through a datalogger.

Probably, you're going flat on your face, is because your car goes to open loop once you go WOT. Therein, your car goes into its default open loop fuel map, which is inherently richer and not determined by your A-F ratio. You're most likely not tuned right. Have you checked your Fuel pressure? Maybe that's off?

I have a datalogger, but have not been able to use it because it wont stay connected. It wont stay connected to even do the byte timing and inter-packet delay tests.

DO you think that the timing might be off? Belt skip a tooth?

Yeah, i'd check fuel pressure, happens to me sometimes.
