74524, slight tinny engine noise on clutch engage...
Posted by rgirard413, May-14-04 06:55 PM
Ok..heres the issue..before the winter i had my headgasket and stuff redone..when i got the car back it made this bad noise so i brought it back to the shop and they forgot to tighten my front motor mount! wtf...so now i just put my rims on my car(18's and pretty heavy) now i get this tinny noise whenever i and not sure if the rims are contribing to it and making it noticable:

Start the car
Turn off the car
engage the clutch and drive

Seems only when the engine has to "move".. could it be the motor mounts again? I did notice that my front motor mount only has 1 bolt in it too.

Any help would be great

im not sure..it started being noticable when i put my 18's on and their heavy so i dunno...i thought it was something clutch related cause seems to happen when i begin accelerating after i release the clutch
