Would heavy vibration cause cv boots to split? This is getting rediculous.

First the inner boot ripped, I put a new axle in, then the outter one ripped about a week later, I put a new one in, and then the outter one ripped again after a month. Nothing is touching it or anything like that, I do have some bad vibration though because I need some new tires and a new inner tie rod.

What do you think?

i know you said it was all clear but just check again around on the suspension peices to see if the cv's are actually clearing the damper fork, etc... it might be rubbing against something when you hit a bump or something

My passenger side motor mount is torn to shreads, so I tried filling the cracks w/ polyureathane as a temp. fix till I got $65 for that Prothane mount.

Joel, there is a 99 RS in a local junkyard that has both axles, probably tie rods, and maybe even the mount. I'll check for you tomorrow bro.

Want me to get anything? Or you wanna hang out next week and get the stuff then. (no school, w00t)
