ok this morning i get up to leave for work and my car wont start... its make a loud clickin noise, then it sounds like sparks... i opened the hood and it smelled like electrical sparks.. (you know how those smell. I left the hood up and turned the key again to see if i could see any sparks, but i couldnt see any.

I did get it to start once. I put it in reverse and the car rolled until the tranny stopped it. Then it started and it ran perfectly fine like nothing was wrong with it. Then i turned it off and it wouldnt start again and i wasnt able to get it to start again. The motor cant be seized it was running fine the night before and after i got it started the first time. The battery is not dead either.

I dont know where to start or what even to search for on here. I suspect the starter has gone bad or something in that area. If anyone can tell me where to start or how to test a few things please let me know.

i had similar problems- it would start sometimes- turned out to be my ground cable on my battery was loose (bolt stripped) and it would slide off occasionally. i would wiggle the cable on the terminal, then it would start right up...

I had the same problem and it turned out to be my Spedo shorted my cam/crank sensor. Does you car turn over?

well it wouldnt turn over this morning, but when i got home from work it started up like nothing was wrong with it. Im gonna clean my battery terminals and install my ground wire kit and see if that helps...
