ive searched and searched and searched. Does anybody know if the valves in our 2gnt are the same as the ones in dohc neon. I know the heads are flipped around but i figured valves where the same and i got a good deal on some oversized valves but they are for the dohc neon. i know the valve diameter is the same for intake and exhaust im wondering about the length.

They are the same.

Yup, identicle, we sell SS valves and they are same part number for both.

ok that helps. Thanks for the info. I got the valves and had a full radius grind done. And i was getting ready to lap the valves and i noticed that the intake valves are about a quater inch shorter than my stocker. I assembled the head without lapping the valves just to see if all the valves hit the roller arm and they do. cams spend the roller and opens and closes the valve. What im wondering since the valves are shorter will it affect the preload any? Do i need to get valves caps or should i be ok since they open close when the cam pushes on them.
