Posted by Talon95Stang, Nov-16-01 11:16 PM
Ok I just learned how to find out engine codes. I'm getting code 25 witch is:

Diagnostic:--Target idle not reached (+/- 200 r/min) (M/T)
Check Item:--Harness and connector / Idle air control motor

OR

Diagnostic:--Idle air control motor circuits
Check Item:--Harness and connector / Idle air control motor

ok so what could cause this problem? what do I need to check? Can you be specific.

I NEED HELP!!!!

I HAVE THE SAME CODE. It's the Idle air controller on the Throttle body. Does your idle jump up and down?

YES my idle jumps up and down like hell. I over ported my TB and thought it was the problem. There is a little gap between the plate and the hole in the TB. Could this be the problem? or is it my cams and shit.

Is there any big aftermarket TB we can use? Like 62mm or so. I was looking at some intergra TB and thought I might be able to just hook up the wires from our senors to the wires or there senors. Some one has to have a bigger TB.

There has always been rumors of a 60mm Jeep TB or 60mm Dodge Caravan TB that will bolt up with very little modification. I would look in to that to see if it was true.

since the pcm gave you that code, maybe you should just replace the sensor?
Although some people have reported severe idle surge after doing the throttle body.
