I have had mine on since December. I got one CEL a few months ago but it turned itself off. We havent really done much with this because i lost access to the shop tools i was using. However, a good friend of mine just aquired a whole machine shop, so once we get the materials we will start making them. There isnt anything secret to these, so if you want to know how we made them hit me or Brian up for the details.

This is me hittin you up for details :) how did you make it, and what kind of work is involved, i.e. special machining or my dumbass with a dremel tool in my garage?

Since I am going to be too busy between now and the shootout to get these done (barring a miracle or 5 numbers and the powerball) :P I'll spill the details.
Think of how the EGR system works and why you get the CELs you do when you disable/remove it.
ISSUE #1 You disconnect the unit from the harness. You get CEL for function.
ISSUE #2 You block off the hole in the head with a gasket of some sort. You get CEL for flow.
So you need to make sure that the ECU sees the system plugged in and flowing air when it tests itself, but you need it blocked off.
What John and I came up with was a sort of stand-off/block-off plate that was solid up against the head (EGR port) and was ported on the solenoid side to allow the system to draw in air when it tested. By doing this, you leave the system connected and functioning, but still get the benefits of the block off.
I'll let you decide how to fashion the plate we made for yourselves, but it's not too hard. John actually used a block of 1/4" aluminum and rough cut it with a Sawzall and took a drill to it. Looks pretty damn good imo.
Nothing to it!
Have fun fellas.

Do you think that someone can post pics, and maybe a writeup.

I rough cut it with the sawzall because the band saw was not working. I used a table sander after that to clean it up. I drilled 4 holes into the block off plate. One where the EGR solenoid meets up with the plate, and 3 on the side of the plate that joined with the center hole. To prevent anything from getting sucked up into the EGR system we used some fine metal screening to act as a filter.
I now have access to a machine shop, so i am going to make two more to do testing on. Sorry no pics of the setup. I thought Brian took a few, but neither of us can find them.

damnit!
either this block off technique or ... i have to buy a new solenoid... its really loud+annoying, but i'd rather not have a permanent CEL
can you bang something out in paint so we have some idea what you did?

It's pretty simple. I don't see why anyone needs a picture. It blocks off the head completely so no exhaust is leaving the head. The EGR is still drawing in air and running it into the intake manifold, it's just pulling in fresh air instead of exhaust. Sounds pretty darn simple to me.

I blocked mine off, put a resister in the harness and haven't gotten a CEL from it yet.

I believe it's a 10w 100ohm resistor.
