yesterday i noticed a noise. its kinda a knocking noise coming from the passenger side of the engine. heres the weird part...if im idleing and turn the steering wheel it stops. i know its not just because the rpms go up because when i first start it and the rpms are around 1k it doesnt do it, just when the rpms have settled. Also when i first start my car in the morning there is a noise that kinda sounds like water sloshing behind the dash.what the hell? i guess my car decided all the sudden to be "unique". my AIM is Klipz97 if you have any answers. thanks

My car has been doing the "water sloshing behind the dash" sound every morning too. I have been curious about it myself. My guess was that it was the coolant or oil being sloshed around after start-up. However I really would like to know for sure...Anybody??

ive been told it was coolant going through the heater core. so, maybe its normal?

Correct but not so much normal. Sounds like air in your coolant system.

didnt you JUST post this question a few days back? ive already answerd it: SEARCH this forum. if you dont understand whats already been said (via the search), and you cant give us any other direct statements/questions besides "theres a noise", then take your car to a mechanic.

as i said before, the sloshing sound is usually normal, but check your coolent level to be sure.
