allpar wasnt to helpful but i DID find out the old 2.2/2.5 tII rods are STRONGER than the srt rods :thumbsup, the downfall is the stock rod bolts arent that strong, so i'd have to get ARP rod bolts, no biggy. they DO work...and are actually an upgrade from the 2.4 rods. however, slight modification to the pin end and needs to be re-bushed and drilled for oil holes to work with other pistons.

#2 is the 2.5L rod, #4 is the srt4/pt turbo rod
im still thinking about it...but i dont know
edit: just because its a 2.5L rod doesnt always mean that it is any longer than the 2.4L rod ;)
thanks for the help guys! _________ 96 talon esi-t san clemente, ca

T2 rods are dirt cheap AND fit 2.4 but they can't compare to the SRT internals, I had a set, the T2 rods are actually thicker but not as strong and they buckle at 375-425WHP - the question is why???? I wouldn't want to us that shit when the SRT interals are so fuckin cheap
