How bad of a job is it to change the fuel pump if mine went bad, I think that's my starting troubles.

Not hard at all. Take out you back seat, take out the five screws that hold down the panel on the left hand side under the seat, then undo the 8 (?) nuts that hold the fuel pump bracket to the tank. Lift the whole thing out.

Tips: The fuel feed line is braized on. it doesn't come off, don't try. The return line is held on by a spring clamp. It comes off easy. When you reinstall it, use a hose clamp instead.

Anything i'm forgetting, guys?

how much time are we lookin at for a firsttimer? Also, how much am I looking at spending for the pump itself?

Well.. maybe an hour figuring out how to follow the instructions ;-)

You can probably get a good aftermartket replacement pump for around $100.

ITt is very easy to do take up your back seat.remove the plate. then it is self explanitory.

yeah not hard at all. onlything that had me was wich side of fuel line to turn to have it come off (cus one side turns the ohter does not). But it must be different on the 95's since Dino said that yours does not come off...

whao there keemosabee! the fuel pump might not be your problem. if you have troubles with it kicking on when trying to start it it might be your fuel pump relay. it's located against the firewall next to you brake fluid res. sometimes mine gets stuck and the car won't start cause the pump won't cut on. might wanna try that first.

okay i found a pic. behind the battery you'll see 2 white caps in the pic in between them is the relays(square looking thingies on the firewall. there are two. one is your fuel pump and i don't know what the other one is.
