Is there any for our cars? Where do we get them and how much? Sorry for not searching, I just don't feel like looking through a bunch of unrelated posts right now. Thanks!

what exaclty would you want/need an aftermarket crank for? ours is nodular iron, very well made. can withstand anything you throw at it. ive never heard of a 420a crank breaking.

other than that the only thing i can think is the fasterthanyou.com custom 2.2 crank, but thats a whole diff ballpark.

so the answer is no, theres no aftermarket crankshafts for the 2 liter 420a. not that I know of anyway

I need a new one because mine's hosed (long story), and it has to be replaced. I figure since I will be down there, I might as well get an aftermarket crankshaft that can increase my horsepower. I figure by now there has to be some out there. Thanks!

The crank won't increase power, sorry

you need other things for more power, a stroker kit or more displacement, if you're looking at crank replacement

To use that crank from Howell, though, you need to change something else, either the rod, or the piston. I'd change them both, and go either high compression or low compression, depending on what my goals for the car are.

oh my god. ok. You have an American engine. Sorry he was just fucking with you. There is no JDM anything for your car - its a red, white, and blue Chrystler motor.

...no. 420a (gs, rs)=chrysler. Look at all the chrysler symbols on your engine.

I have a crank, but it needs to be turned... If you dont want it, I'll just get it turned myself and use it for my new beefy engine rebuild... It had a spun bearing, so it just needs to be turned like .25 (yes they make bearings in 1/4's, trust me)
