Ok guys, here's my story. Last year before I stored my car I had a few CEL's. One for a Map sensor and the other for EGR small leak, block. I can't remember the codes exactly.
But thing is now, I have NONE !! The light is working cause I did a key dance now and I get 12, 55 which is normal.

I just can't beleive I have drove 80-100 miles and no CEL yet. I don't know how a Evap block egr leak can fix it's self. Or how a map sensor all of a sudden works now...HMMM.....

Can anyone enlighten me?

Just so you know the codes I was getting last year were....12,31,13,55

Obviously know what 13,55 are....but how did she fix the other two by herself....all I changed was teh JUNK JUNK battery I had, with an optima.

Was the battery unhooked at all? Or did the battery die?

my bad, just saw that you changed out the battery. Did the car sit for along period of time with a dead battery or no battery at all?

My car sat since last Feb till now...HAHA one year and some months. My car is a 97 with 60k.

Yeah but with or without a battery/battery power. :)

Well dead the whole time, had a battery but it was complete junk...would only run if I jump started her.

Well there ya go. Give em a little more time to see if they come on, if they don't oh well, if they do well then fix what it says or just ignore the light like most of the dsm community.
