Hey guys.
A friend of mine ordered a 1G Tsi ported thorrtle body, only to find he ordered a N/A one.
He's heard that you can put these on 2G N/A cars.
Anyone know if this is true?

Thanks guys
Brian.

no, all 1g engines were mitsu made. it would fit in a 2g turbo but not on a 2g NT. no mitsu engine parts will work with our chrysler engines. the only other TB we are able to use is the jeep tb (search) and even that requires some modifications.

You also hear about people doing the 4g63 swap, but that comes from the same source: some dooshbag who knows a guy who knows a guy... Simple rule to keep in mind when dealing with parts and modding: if it's for a 4g63 you don't need it, don't want it, or have any use for it. :thumbsup

Find someone to buy that thing with a 1G, then take the money to the junkyard and buy yourself a 60mm off a 4.0L Jeep I6 and install that one. Very affordable and very doable.

ya..I know the 420a is a more up to date engine...better built if you ask me.
But once again, it's one of those "He heard" that.

How hard is it to put a jeeps on?
I've seen articles on it, but haven't really looked into it that hard
