So I'm trying to get my oil pan off. There are bolts that hold it on right by the tranny and there is a bracket that covers some of the bolts. The bracket is held on by two bolts. They are different sizes and one looks to be bolted right to the tranny. Anyone have any idea what size that bolt is?

hrm... i think its either a 17 or 19mm

or maybe 18mm. :shrug

If I remember right, its an 18mm. If not just find the one that fits right. Take that bracket off and continue with your oil pan removal. I was able to get all my oil pan bolts out without dropping the crossmember (thanks to small hands to fit in those tight places). Keep at it.

yea, me too, i didn't drop my cross member either. i just used a little 5" ratchet and a 10mm socket( i think it was 10mm?). that was it. good luck.

Thanks guys! I could of sworn that I tried an 18mm, but maybe in all the fuss I grabbed two different 19s or something stupid like that. I was tired and probally shouldn't have been doin it in the firct place. I will win round two!!
