there should be a rubber connector piece. Slide one end of that onto the throttle body and the other half onto the intake. There should be some clamps that go over the rubber piece, tighten those up.

yeah i tried that but the rubber piece is too big for the throttle body??? the intake tube is alot larger in diameter that the exit to the throttle body. what do you think?????

like he said, put the rubber connector on the end of the tb and then put the intake pipe in the other ond of the rubber piece and tighten the clamps. If the intake pipe is larger than the tb, just mkae sure it isn't right up against the tb. It should work as long as both clamos are on tight.

Nevermind all the ghey wire ties. The people responsible have been sacked, had their revenge, been sacked again, and it's just so damn big because I can so there. :P

You just need to make sure you get the clamps on the coupling that goes from teh tb to the intake tight on both sides. You might also want to get some hose to put over the upright there for the battery hold down. Mine was almost halfway worn through from rubbing after about 6 weeks....

And obviously your problem lies between your ears. At any rate, If it didn't come with a coupler to fit between the intake pipe and the throttle body, you can try getting one from the plumbing section of Home Depot, Lowe's, etc. Or you can try to find a silicone reducer at a performance shop, but they'll charge you an arm and a leg.

Maybe if you knew anything about modding a car then you could try helping someone instead of just talking shit all the time. It seriously gets old. You might also find out that expensive doesn't equal better. A little research goes a long way. If you want to discuss this further, you're more than welcome to PM me. No need to screw up this guys thread anymore with your mindless drivel.

maybe you should post a pic or a link to the ebay auction so we know wtf you're talking about.

You may have got the "CAI Extension" which you attatch to the end of your stock rubber intake hose where the box used to attatch.

I dunno, my AEM fit perfectly. I posted a thread about 2 weeks ago warning people not to buy eGay intakes :shrug

i got some cheap little $5 intake off ebay a few years ago.... it was basically a 3" civic intake that didnt even fit right. someone correct me cuz i know im wrong but the throttle body is somewhere around 2" if not 2" so the connector that it came with was 3" on one side and 2" on the other. the smaller side went on the throttle body and the larger one went on the intake.... either way you got an ebay intake which means your going to have to MAKE IT fit....

if that doesnt help i dont know what to tell you cuz you confused the fuck out of me

Here's the reducer they're talking about. This is definitly the best choice. Check out this webpage for more info:
