I really need help...do any of you know the stock IAC sensor tip height? How far in should it be screwed...get back to me asap! thanks!

Just play with it, and take a guess, it shouldn't have to be exact unless your IAC is shot and you need to pick the right arflow for idle. The ECU should adjust the IAC as long as you are close.

Thanks, but what is causing my high idle then? I tried putting on my jeep throttle body, but it wouldn't idle at lower than 3000RPM so then I replaced the stock and put everything like it was, but that sensor,I don't know the proper height for it. THanks

Intake gasket maybe? Try spraying some carb cleaner around the intake/head area, if it affects the idle its a leaky gasket.

its posted somewhere on this forum that if you use the jeep tb, u have to grind off something because it blocks your tb from sitting flush with the manifold. its like a lil bit of a corner or something. that might be the cause of your high idle.
