Well, i knew it was coming but i didnt know it would be this soon. 150xxx miles and now i have a knock. Its coming from cylinder one area, def sounds like the head..maybe a valve or so, and i have white smoke coming from the exhaust. I checked my oil to see if it was the headgasket and its fine, nice and tan colored. On the way home the car was hesitating like a muther fucker and all i could hear was the knock/tap coming from the motor. I was so embarrased..it really sucked. Yesterday and today(before the shitstorm) the car was running better than it had ever run, i had the timing right on, idle was normal, and acceleration was awesome. I went to advance auto to have a new battery installed, and thats when it started. When i started the car after the battery install i noticed the noise, it was fine up until that point. Ive gone through all the possibilities, and the milled head fucking up seems to be the most logical thing here. So, im having the head cleaned dipped and a 3 angle valve job done this week, im going to order the headgasket and felpro head studs very soon, and within two weeks i will begin work. Lets all pray that i didnt crack a ring or ring land. That is all...
