Email Glenn, He is Hurricane_GS on the board. He mods the stock shifter 2 inches shorter for $40 and you send him your stock one after you receive his.

Look for the B&M short shifter is you are not inclined to hack your own yourself. It actually moves the shift point and not the height which I prefer as cutting the height introduces more required effort where as retaining the stock height and moving the shift point will keep the effort relatively the same with a much imporved throw. The B&M can be had for around $110.

What's wrong with Stillen products guys? I never hear jack about Stillen but most of my shit's Stillen and I love every bit of it. Get the Stillen short throw, the gears are a lot closer together... Hacking your stock one off or paying someone to do so is silly, not to mention it's still stock, just lower.

Brad,

Actually, nothing is wrong with Stillen products. His stuff is generally very high quality. Well, there is one problem with it. He charges ridiculous high prices.

I myself would have everything Stillen on my car, but it's like you pay for the name and stuff....It's like designer jeans and such, you pay for name brand. Kinda like Sony vs. Panasonic, etc.
