70713, Where to get Intake Manifold ported? Posted by esseclipse, Mar-15-04 11:33 AM I want to get my intake ported to match my 60mm MP TB....where should I get it done?

I'm gonna be forced to go bust out the digital calipers....
70720, RE: Where to get Intake Manifold ported? Posted by tim97rs, Mar-15-04 01:22 PM if you want a TRUE 60mm opening you have to add material. When looking into the intake opening, the left side "wall" will blow out. If you lay your 60mm gasket ont he opening and trace the gasket and use that as your porting guide, you'll blow thur! i speak from experience!!! what others have done is port at an angle to avoid this.

Did it with epoxy cause I don't trust myself welding aluminum right now(I need some practice). If its a big gaping hole you'll probably need to have it welded to fix it.
