ok a while ago i was crusing to school, it was early and i was tired as hell. All of the sudden i fell the car jerk just like it would when the rev limiter hits.... i was like WTF?!? did i like fall asleep and just let it rev up to 6500...i looked and it seemed to be at 4000...I didnt no, ignored it..

Then it happened again going to work that same day (never happened again)

at around 4 grand, just felt this weird jerk, and let off the gas, and tired again and it was fine, never happened again, even after racing..

i did a compression test after that (like 2 hours later) checked out
185-185-185-190

wtf was it?

Those compression numbers are great..

The problem sounds map sensor or fuel related to me... But if the problem is gone now...let it be. If it aint broke dont fix it.

something like that happened to me a long time ago, and it had to do with the stupid EGR pipe that melted some of the wires going to the coil; the main wire loom that's next to it was kinda melted as well, check those out, that could be your problem.

If he had a stock rebuild shouldn't those numbers be up around 220?
