I have been looking all over the forum cause I know someone had to have asked this but is there any where I can go to get a detailed install guide on putting a 2.4l into a '98 RS? I need to know:

1)How to do it?
2)Any special Computer/ECU stuff?
3)Can I use my A604?
4)Can I use my 420A Head and oil pan?
5)anything else I didn't ask but would be pertinent to the topic.

Please point me in the right direction, I need to know these things before I decide to buy a block, if its too much hassle for what its worth Ill just build a 2.0l, but I want the torque of the 2.4l. All help is greatly appreciated and I will eventually go turbo whether I use the 2.0l or the 2.4l, I just want to build the motor first.

Should be the same as a regular 2.4 swap but i would discourage you from keeping the 604...reason being that transmission even when performance built (to my knowlege no one gets it to survive 300ft/lbs. TQ even when upgraded, unless someone comes out with a completely upgraded set of "hard parts") does not like torque or high hp...just do a 5 speed swap at same time....save yourself the second remooval

1) If only it were that simple.
2) Rotate the cam magnet 90* advanced, switch the triggers on the coilpack, over all the injectors down one, making #4 the new #1. Other than that, no.
3) Sure.
4) Head yes, oilpan no.
5) the passenger side motor mount has to be fabricated, and a 2.4L oilpan has to be modified.
