70144, Headers changed color.....??????? Posted by speedtek, Mar-07-04 04:51 PM So i juss recently installed my headers and my race cat (which my car sounds so much sexier) but anywayz my headers were originally "chrome" but by the time i got home from the shop they were a gold/brass color???? also, RIGHT when i started up my car the headers started smoking, i guess the coatin burned off???? none the less the "NEW" color looks good too =o) | |

The only header that I have see not change color is Ceramic coated headers. But then again, I have seen a ceramic turn ugly, but that is because some idiot touched with a greasy finger and it burned into it. Good thing it was not my car. | |
