ok, heres the deal... it turns over, i get spark, but the fuel pump relay and the MFI relay arent getting power to switch them on.

if i use a jumper over the pins at the relays to make the connection, they both work, and the car starts for a second but dies.

i have a 97 eclipse engine wiring harness and ecu out of a car that had anit theft, with a first gen engine, in a 96 doge avenger that did not have anti theft......

could the problem be due to my car not being wired for the anti theft??

if it was wired up for the anti theft, it wouldnt have started at all. does it just crank and crank? this is a 4g63 i presume (after that awd swap) so i cant help you much :shrug

yes... it is the 4g63.. everything for the AWD is done... but it just wont start...

it cranks... and i have spark, but the injectors arent pulsing and the fuel pump wont pump......

but if i jump the relays they do work... but it starts then dies right away

damn dude, i seriously dont know jack shit about the 4g6 so my wild guess is yes, you might need to figure out that alarm situation. does the car cut power to the mfi relay and fuel pump when the alarm is activated?

getting fuel pressure? how do you know you're getting spark?

NM, didnt read carefully

well, i took a plug out, and grounded it.. sparks were good...

both relays have power, but on the side that goes to the ecu.. thats the ground side.... its not getting a ground...

i tapped into that wire, and grounded it, and the relay works then, but the fuel pump runs continously, and the car will only start then die that way...

also no lights on the dash light up when i turn on the car.. like oil, check engine, and srs... like how they normaly turn on for a few seconds then shut off... i dont get anything

well, figured that problem out....now i have to go talk in the turbo forum and figure out some stuff in there...

still no guages work except my tach. boost dont show, fuel pressure, coolant or anything

but it will start and run.... with a high idle. i have a vacum leak i have to work out i think
