My fuel rail is leaking due to extreme fuel preassures (150psi with the 10:1 FMU and 440cc injectors). I've been reading on the venom and the OBX, which one should I get? Some people said the venom was a PITA to install, some dont. I need one that does not require fabrication, simple bolt on. I need the one for a 95 model where I can attach the fuel return line on the end. Thanks

stock has the largest bore. I'd say stick w/ that.

That is not exactly true. While the rail itself is a larger diameter it is restricted at the point where the factory line connects. If you look at the stock rail the factory line actually connects to an offset plug which connects to the rail by a much smaller line thus creating your restriction. Not to mention that the aftermarket rails don't have a tendency to leak around the fitting at the end of the rail which was never designed to be used as a hose fitting.

Be advised that the OBX fuel rails do have fitment issues with the factory IM. Was able to make mine fit by notching the two included slide mounts using a dremel. Also make sure that you replace your injector o rings and use a small about of clean engine oil on each end of the injectors when you do the install. If your o rings are fairly new then you could probably reuse them but considering the difficulty involved with removing the rail i would consider it cheap insurance to just get some new ones.

150 PSI doesnt seem right i thought that the max fuel pressure that can be achived was 120 and that was with a 12:1 fmu i thought i read that the fmu was only good for raising the pressure for only the first 11 psi i could be wrond though

150psi with 440cc, christ how much boost were you running? 28spi?

I wish, I wish. Not, it was more like 16psi. I had the SFMu originally but the tooners at Apex R in Tucson changed it to the FMU saying it would be best to run rich. No shit, I know its best to run a bit rich, but how rich is too rich? Too rich is when you waste a tank of fuel in 100 miles or less. When you toast your plugs every 25 miles, LOL.

Anyway, I will stick with the stock one then. Thanks for your input.

150psi fuel pressure:whoa

With that much pressure, something's going to leak unless if you redo your entire fuel delivery.
