This is wierd how come when I try to start my car if it is say below 20 degress I turn the key and all dash lights come on, relays all fire, but the engine dont even try to turn over also the feul pump wont do that run for 1 sec thing. I have no idea what the hell is going on but hope u do. Can u help me. It is only doing this about 1 day a week.

dead battery? did you try to jump it and rule out a bad battery. My accord was doing that about a month ago so i replaced the battery and im all good again.

The fuel pump only comes on at the turn of the key. does it just crank over but not start. if so maybe crank or cam sensor...give more info.

im willing to bet its a dead battery....at freezing temperatures, your battery is like 40 or 60% less powerfull....its something like that....but you have enough power to light the dash, but not enough to turn it over....when you try to start im betting that your dash lights dim....let us know

I've got the same problem. Luckily I have this handy dandy little jumper thing that will jump the battery by itself without the need of another car. That thing is a life saver. I plan on getting a new battery soon, that should solve the problem.

or it could be the problem i have just havent fixed yet. The connection on my positive terminal for the line that goes to the battery is corroded and loose and so i one of the white wires that is the main power for everything else...if i hop in the car and turn the key it will act all normal. But as soon as you turn the key it shorts kinda and the nothing happens.....fixing it today though. check out those connects for corrosion.

Only in cold weather (10 or below) it will have problems turning over. The dash lights turn on dimly and the engine cranks once or twice and gives up. Once I jump it, it's fine.

nope it is not that my battery is brand new and is fully charged when this problem occurs. Headlights come on nice and bright and everything. The car will not turn over at all, and the fuel pump will not prime. I was also told it might be the neutral safety switch, or a dead spot in statrter. If u open the hood for an hour it will magically start.

How about the starter relay...Or the connection to the starter. Try to tap the starter or take a volt gauge to see if your getting power to it.

well the relay does click when u turn the key but u get nothing after the click. Where is it located?

wheres what the relay....or the starter..check to see it you have juice at the starter while cranking...

the relay I now where the starter is. Next time it does it I will check the starter 4 voltage should be 13.4 right.

somewhere around there...if ther is juice you know it's the starter...if not you know it's a fuse or ignition issue

Where is the relay? I will replace it anyway cause I have a spare that works.

Should be under the hood in the fuse panel.....there all named just check em all....or even check in the car under the dash

um ok problem is gatting worse. The starter relay or engine relay doesn't click when u turn the key. Only relay clicking is on drivers side of firewall. There are 4 there 1 clicks. Also ecu is buzzing loudly.
