6964, Tranny Whine? Posted by FuSi0N, Nov-12-01 09:25 AM
Anyone ever notice a whining/whistling sound during acceration or down shifting in low gears, usually during 1st and second gear. Is this normal or a sign of trouble?

Ya, I got that noise. Kinda sounds like a turbo with no BOV. But I took it to a good Mechanic friend of mine and he said it was nothing to worry about. So his a$$ better be right.
