OK…

I was wondering if anyone hear might have had this problem…I have a ported head with 3 angle valve job, crower stage 1 cams, 55 mm TB, etc.... So I thought well hell, all this air flowing I might as well upgrade my injectors, considering im gona go turbo in a month or so anyways…So I did, I put 310’s in my OBX fuel rail(a piece of sh*t).
Ever since I put them in, most of the time when I start my car I have to tap on the gas a little to get it started, or else it will start up at like 200 rpm and take like 30 seconds to slowly climb up to the normal idle RPM…BUT, Some mornings it will start up just fine, fine meaning, it will start go up to about 1300 rpm for a second then go down to idle at about 900 or so…
The fuel pump is stock…Are the injectors to big for my current setup, and making it start like that, or is it something else???

what kind of FPR are you gonna run? Because if it's an SFMU you can run those injectors no problem. You'll just have to intsall that to and turn down the the fuel pressure. It's actually a good way to break up everything you have to install. Your car won't know the difference because your FPR won't raise the fuel pressure because it won't see boost. Get it? Sorry if I'm not explaining it good because it's still a little early for me. :thumbsup

it probably doesn't matter what fpr your planning on useing as long as it's a rising rate (in relationship to boost)FPR. I have an sfmu so that's what I'm familar with. ;)

Put your stockers back in. You don't need 310's.

With that set up 24lb injectors would be good, and supply enough fuel. 30 lbs is too much especially without a form of fuel pressure adjustment.

I wouldn't go swapping injectors or any size without some form of pressure regulator. It just makes things so much easier to control and fine tune.

Yea, thats what i thought...I got 310's becuase next week its going in for a stage 2 turbo setup...I think once i get the SFMU etc it should clear that problem up
