It's a Banks upgrade kit for my new truck that's on order.

here are some specs
4" exhaust from turbo back.
Transmission control module (harder better shifts)
ECU chip
- Adjust fuel curves
- increases boost from 17.5 psi to 24.0 psi
oiled fabric air filter
really big waste gate actuator
0-40psi boost gauge
EGT gauge
Two gauge pod
all needed hardware and instructions for install.
all ads up to a peak increase of
50WHP and
100ft/lbs of TQ (at the wheels also)
for $1700? :shrug

opinions/thoughts?

Sounds like a dayumm good deal to me!!
What kinda truck is this for?? The only trucks with a turbo that come to mind are diesels...
The only other mod that will give you those kind of HP gains for the price must be the GREAT MIEDOSO RACING ELECTRIC SUPERCHARGER, with the optional park bench spoiler!!
Ok, maybe not, but this kit seems pretty reasonable.

i was kinda thinking that after reading through all the stuff it came with again..

it's just that I can get a ECU programmer for $400 that has 4 preset programs that you can load into the ecu at anytime (including back to factory settings) with datalogging and code pulling... and the most powerful setting can get you gains of 110-150HP and 200-250ft/lbs of TQ... but then again.. you can't tow anything with it cause the EGT's will climb too high unless you got a bunch of supporting mods to go with...

but yeah.. it's for a turbo diesel. I got a 03' E-450 with a 7.3L powerstrock on order, should be here in 2 weeks.
but yeah.. after looking at all the stuff it comes with.. it isn't a bad deal... make the truck sound hella mean too :D

well that's cool.. maybe i didn't know how much turbo stuff cost very well.. too bad i can't use alot of the kit since I got an E-450 and not an F-series...

perhaps i can just get the chips and waste gate and then custom make the exhaust and get near the same gains for a bit less..??

maybe i should have posted this in the turbo forum.. haha.. forgot about that one as i never go there.

I'm still trying to figure out what the stock turbo is on my truck.. I know it's made by Garrett.. but I don't know which model yet. I know there is a 'bolt on' direct uprade made for the 7.3L TD I have by Garrett called the GTP-38

I wonder if I could take it to the strip... hahah... I'll put 4000lbs. on the ass and pull a wheelie off the line :D
