is there anyone out there that knows or does head gasket replacements. i took my car to my family mechanic and he said it was the head gasket leaking from the usual drivers side rear part of the engine. he really doesnt want to do it because its a hassle and he quoted me 500 bucks to do it. i would do it myself but i dont have the equiment/time for it. so if anyone has any info about a place/person that would do it for a reasonable price could you let me know.

Honestly, its not that hard of a job to do....just have to be careful not to drop or scratch it since you are messing with the head. If you cant do it yourself, dont pay no $500 to do it. That is way too much just to replace a gasket which may cost anywhere between 40 - 100. Try to find the time to do it. If I were in the Boston area I would help you.
