I found Corbin's write up on here but had a quick question.

Once you've got the compression tester in one of the cylinders and you go to start the car, do you keep the accelerator pushed in all the way? And you keep cranking until the gauge stops going any higher correct? Thanks guys.

Yep. And don't forget to pull the engine fuse so the fuel will be shut off.

There should be 3 relays to the right of the brake fluid resovoir on the firewall, disconnect those to stop fuel n spark. Make sure the comp. tester is correctly sealed into the plug well. Keep cranked over, and step WOT then let off, do that about 3 times until you reach maximum psi for each cylinder.

I just unplug the injector and coilpack harnesses.

Yeah, I just unplug the 2 relays also. Place the tester so you can see teh dial face from inside the car(so you can see it between the open hood and the windshield cowl), and keep cranking the engine UNTIL you don't see the needle move up anymore. Just don't crank the motor a few times, just keep cranking unitl the needle stops moving. Do this with the motor fully warmed up!

As pathetic as it sounds, I'm very nervous to see my results. Before I had a compression tester I was getting my 60k checkup done at Mitsu and told them to do a comp test for me. They said every cylinder was within 10% of each other but when I asked for hard numbers they said they didn't keep the numbers. Bastards.
