how hard is it to remove the AC? also where did or can you get the right belts to replace them? like if i remove the AC where can i get a belt for just the power steering? also is the ps above or below the AC?

Its not that hard, probably just have to get some string and measure it. i think they did make some that came without AC but when they got to dealership they put it on so u might beable to call a dealership and get a belt size not sure though. Also u will need to get the freon taken out of the system so it doesnt spray every where when u take it off.

Have fun removing the AC. If you plan to do it yourself you will have to vent the Freon(illegal) before you can disconnect the compressor. That stuff is very cold and messy.

As for finding the right size belt it isnt that hard to do. Like ^^^ said use a piece of string to measure the length.

i dont even think you'd need to disconnect it....i mean, leave the AC in just dont connect a belt to it. would that work? or no?

It would work, but I heard that the A/C system was like 30 lbs. :shrug

if i remove the AC system all the ac stuff is going, the point of removing it is for room. just is the ac above or below the ps pump? i thougth about removing the AC for room not for power.

It's not hard to remove just undo the lines and pull it all out all mine wieghted aobut 40 45 pounds not a bad chunk of weight. very easy i used string ti messure the pullys and went to napa and said hay i need this lenth belt with this many groves. cost 10 bucks for a new belt.
