67739, Different Tensioners? Posted by thegame, Feb-03-04 03:06 AM
Are the 95-99 tensioners all the same? Trying to order one from Bob Kise, and theres different numbers from the 95-97 to 98-99. We both think there all the same, but his computer says differently. Just wanted to make sure. (michael97rs? says the same also)

they should be the same. its probably just a superceeding number or something, maybe a little different slot for the bolts or something but they havent changed any designs so it should work just fine

95sohc is same as 95 dohc is same as 99 dohc... they're all the same size.
It's possible the newer version has an internal improvement or something.

Yeah, they have to be the same. I'm another random mix of engine parts, with a 97' head on my 95' block, in my 98' talon. I bought the tensioner specifying my 98' talon. It's all a perfect match.
