95 Eclipse GS Manual
When I turn my key to start the car it will start and immediatly turn off. Even when I keep the key turned in the start position on the ignition it starts for a second and turns off and then starts again for a second and turns off. I don't know what to do. Help please.

Well guess what, I fixed the problem like 30 minutes after posting this tread. Got some new spark plugs and started right up. At least this post will serve as a refrence for others.

Check for loose or faulty electrical connections at the coil or alternator. Check for a major vacuum leak. Possibly a faulty fuel pump:shrug

you might want to check your two relays under the hood they control the fuel pump. first pop the bottom portion of your back seat up and then stick the key in the ignition turn to on but don't start the car. do this a few times and try to listen for the fuel pump to prime it usually makes a hissing type sound. if you don't hear anything chances are it's the relays and probably not your fuel pump depending on how many miles ya have. if you do decide to replace them they are the two relays bolted to the firewall behind your battery usually about 30-40 bucks at any mitsubishi or chrysler dealer.
