i was told by a dyno/tuner to try some ngk 2 heat range colder then stock spark plugs, but i want to see if there is anything bad about trying/doing it? input?? also would the gap be the same as the normal/1 heat range colder then stock plugs?

not sure about 2 ranges colder but many go 1 colder, its just the insulator is shorter so it cools faster, closer path to the head.
gap should still be .035 or so for turbo applications

colder plugs are kinda like higher octane gas from what i gather. it just helps reduce the chances of detonation/knock/etc. it shouldnt hurt anything. tell us how it goes!

cool.. true the insulator is closer and it helps prevent pre-ignition i know that part. Just wondering about the whole 2 heat ranges colder since i dont know of anyone doing so on our motor with turbo??

If your not getting any knock at the boost your running then you wouldn't want to do that.
