I have the Crane, but I'd recommend the MSD unit that's programmable for a more accurate timing retard (when necessary) control when you up the boost later.

Use the Crane is is more reliable than the MSD, and more accurate for timing retard on boost. It is also a modular system which is nice you can add modules as you need them.

The Crane is a good unit. We have had a lot of failures with the MSD units. I quit using MSD on my personal stuff a few years ago.

yeah my MSD DIS-2 went to crap after about 30,000 miles of use. and that was Non-Turbo miles mostly. one day it, my car did not crank, and i was confused of why this happened, i checked everything but the MSD, i was worried that it was the MSD, so i checked it out, removed it, and wired everything back to stock, and voila! my car started perfectly, not only that, i had bad fuel economy for awhile and it was revving real rough. i was dissapointed that i wasted my money on it. i should've bought the Crane.
