We just tapped it in with a hammer I believe. Just make sure you don't tap it in beyond flush or it may leak on you. :thumbsup

The difference between us hammering in the rear main seal with a 2x4 and the dealer using the MB012375908275 tool is about $300. Plus if you do it yourself you get the assurance that the job's been done right.
