Sup guys.
I am going for a Greddy Evo Exhaust 3" pipe (for GST use) catback exhaust.

I will be installing this to my GS eclipse.
and of course I am turbo charged.

Can any of you guys post some picture (as much as possible)
On how the exhaust look like? I MEAN THE ACTUAL ONE YOU RECIEVED FROM MAIL. the pictures I found are all generic look.

Can I see some pictures from under the car for the GREDDY EVO GST catback exhaust installed on our GS cars??

Thanks... is it COMPLETELY BOLT ON? or any mod needed??
Thanks alot!

Don't have any pics, but I have the EVO. Let me just say, it's the best sounded cat-back ever. I get compliments on it ALL the time. Good choice :thumbsup.

It's completely bolt on, shouldn't take more than a half hour to do. I'd get some PB Blaster to spray on the bolts about 15 minutes before you go to take your stock exhaust off, or you can use a torch.

Make sure the gaskets imbetween the sections are centered when you tighten down the bolts!!! Else you just introduced a restriction/destortion in your system.

I'm going to put a video on the board of how it sounds before and after putting a resonated test pipe in, as soon as it arrives.

OK, one thing I am worry about, is. from the Muffler on toward the back (I am talking bout the pipe)

Does the Greddy Evo design (made) that the pipe will follow the EXACT same route as the stock? like the part RIGHT AFTER THE muffler, will it go up next to the spare tires area (above the rear bar) or will ist just go STRAIGHT to the back like below the bar and stratch the ground? you konw what I mean?

Yeah, the stock GS-T piping and GS piping are identical in the bends. So the GS-T Greddy Evo exuast is a perfect fit all the way back.

Where can I get the CHEAPEST Greddy Evo Exhaust?
(the 3" one)

Also, is the Evo exhaust COMPLETELY stainless? or will it start rusting ???

Coz the Evo2 said it's stainless and Evo didn't say it...??

idk how the greddy GST catbacks are but mine (apexi n1 GST catback) goes below the rear cross-member. there's still plenty of ground clearance though. but ya maybe someone w/ a greddy catback can check. usually if its for turbo apps then it's got 3" piping which usually doesn't fit in the stock location above the rear cross member. the only issue this might cause is you can't use certain lower tie bars. sway bars should be no problem though. you normally have the opposite problem if you're using aftermarket piping going through the stock location - can't use some sway bars (if i remember correctly).

With the Greddy EVO you can use any popular swaybars, and lower tie bars. The times that you normally can't is when the exhaust goes below the crossmember.

The Greddy EVO is ceramic coated up to the muffler.

Cheapest place I've ever seen it (and where I bought mine) is from www.adventon.com

Cheers!

Thanks...Exactly what I want to ask... is the Greddy Evo Exhaust (3" piping) go below or above the rear cross member?

Thanks.
Gil

Also for Greddy Evo, it won't make any LOUD or annoying sound right? at any RPM?
Thanks.

Eh, That would rape power imo. I would get a catback that goes below, I dont bottom out, but still, you need that bitch straight as can be.

I have one and love it as well. I have had it about 3 years. It has started to rust inside the canister/muffler where a little bit of water pools when it would rain but its not bad. It does run the same as the stock piping would. It has a nice deep tone at idle and driving around 3 grand and sounds mean and aggressive when racing at wot in high rpms. I got mine off nopi because noone else would have one in stock for 2 months so i paid a little more.

It doesn't sound bad at any rpm, which is what makes it's nicer to have than other catbacks.

Once again...it goes OVER the rear crossmember. And it is pretty damn straight, and dyno'd w/ like 1-2 hp less than the HKS dagger (or whatever that expensive ass exhaust is called, which is a pretty loud one). Greddy had a dyno and sound db chart on the back of a few Sport Compact Car magazines, and it was the quietest and second in hp to the HKS and tied w/ the N1 catback (the N1 had like .1 more hp).

I'm sure it's the same... GST/X exhaust 3", R/GS exhaust 2.5"

not sure if it comes in 3inch, but i know for a fact the evo2 is alot quieter than the 1. my friend has the evo1 on his rsx type s and it sounds just like my car. My girl got the evo2 for rsx type s and it is not 1 decibal louder than stock. I have also heard other people with the evo2 and sp2 on other cars say its as quiet as stock, but it does still have that greddy tone. just some random info you might want to know.
