Heheh - yup I used Adobe Photoshop 5.5. Saved him about 26KB too (Original was 43Kb).

I shrunk it to 60% and saved it with grade 5 quality.
I did not add the effect on the edges, it already had that effect. However it's quite easy to add. I think that even the standard effect in PhotoShop can do that.

If you have any photo that you'd like some FX added, I don't mind giving it a whack for you.

That looks much better. Image Expert 2000 sucks. I just downloaded Photoshop 6.0 off of Morpheus. I like it much beter.

Thanks Guy, I have photoshop but not installed yet on my xp computer, so I haven't been using it. Been using cheap microsoft photo editor which tends to distort images when reducing size. Guy, how much web space do you have left? I want to start reducing sig picture sizes for people, because some people have ridiculously large images that take over 100 kb. I'm on a T1 so it doesn't matter, but I feel sorry for dialup users, and it's annoying to have a picture take up an entire screen. Would you be able to host some more people's signatures? I can reduce the pictures, but I don't really have much free web space left...

I can definitely host LOTS of things, and will gladly do so, however as of DEC 31st I will probably lose it all, as I hope to graduate then! Sometimes, though, they forget to remove accounts...so you never know!

Until then, I am willing to host whatever people want (as long as it ain't illegal - University regulated).

1. I do think the pics tend to be way too large. Tone them down in size. Remember, we all now what an Eclipse looks like.
